However, following a recent computer upgrade to a new laptop with Win10, I am unable to get the profile editor and drivers installed correctly. S ometimes I can program them (where they work for a while), but then the action-lock also kicks in (which makes a mess of things). The only buttons that I can't program, are the two action-lock buttons. Once it is in this list (called “Allow the apps below to control your computer”), then tick the box. Note: to be able to program the mouse buttons, you will have had to have dragged the “mad catz editor.app” (from the applications folder) into the “accessibility” list (which is in the “privacy” section of “security and privacy” of the “system preferences” app. However, if you restart the computer, it will then work. At this point, if you try to use the newly programmed mouse button (in the chosen application/game) it will not work. Program the mouse in the normal way, and then save and activate the profile. ![]() Then I stumbled on a way to make it work. I was having trouble programming my mmo7 mouse to work in mavericks.
